Matthew Swinton

Matt graduated from The Cleveland Institute of Art in 2007 with a BFA in Industrial Design, and a minor in ceramics. 

After a handful of internships around the US, Matt landed his first full time position at the renowned design and branding consultancy, Fuseproject- supporting and eventually leading programs for clients such as Herman Miller, Samsung, Jawbone, and General Electric.

In 2013 Matt accepted a position at a new design and branding firm, Box Clever. As a design director, Matt was not only responsible for growing and managing the team, but also providing creative direction for many bay area startups as well as internally developed programs such as Span Watch, and Fade Task Lamp.

In 2015 Matt moved on to a new position as an industrial designer in Mountain View at Google’s experimental hardware division, X (AKA, The Moonshot Factory). At X, Matt worked closely with research and engineering teams, delivering product concepts for transportation, renewable energy, and robotics.

After receiving his BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art for Industrial Design in 2007, Rob relocated to the bay area to join Lunar Design, whose creative expertise in design and engineering have made them a world standard of innovation for over 30 years.

Building on the experience in leadership, creativity and implementation expertise gathered while at Lunar Design, Rob went on as Lead Designer to help build the foundation of a new powerhouse of progressive branding and hardware development, Huge Design.

From Rob’s time at the first days of Huge Design until 2015; the team, projects and practices have seen phenomenal development and accelerated growth leading to numerous design awards, patents and highly successful projects for some of the world’s largest fortune 500 companies and the most promising new startups of Silicon Valley.

Rob continues to consult in San Francisco by teaming up with today’s most forward thinking and influential clients who share in his unique vision, broad experience and nuanced approach.
